seems mother nature has forgotten about spring for those of us in the northwest. it's been a long winter. yet little by little spring is making an appearance. we keep making our starlight wishes for some warmer days (and soon). in the meantime we wander north for flowers and south for city adventures, making stops along the way to drink in every glimpse we see of the lovely, bright, shiny, glowy orb in the sky!

april showers seem to be living up to the name. the ongoing wet days can make you wonder "what am i doing here?" looking for that answer i find myself taking advantage of the in-between times to sneak in some cozy dinners with friends over good vino and delicious deserts. a little garden prep and plenty of coffee breaks. of course a little road trip could be nice...

signs of spring are emerging everywhere. like the buds that burst through the dirt ready to be seen, we too find ourselves ready to reach outside our nest. longer days allow us more time to connect with others. taking with us the security of being rooted to the earth, while reaching, growing, discovering what it is to really see and be seen.
